The Universe Is Not Empty

The Infinite Wave Theory proposes that the quantum vacuum is a real, structured fluid medium — and that everything we call physics, from atomic orbitals to gravitational lensing, is a mechanical consequence of pressure dynamics in that medium.

A Real Medium

The quantum vacuum is not empty. It is filled with a continuous, compressible fluid — the Elementary Medium — whose local density determines the speed of light, the rate of time, and the strength of gravity. Every interaction in physics is a consequence of pressure dynamics in this medium.

137 Sub-Cycles

The fine structure constant α = 1/137 is the gear ratio between the EM medium's propagation rate and the electron's internal oscillation rate. For every one observable light-cycle, the electron completes exactly 137 internal sub-cycles. This single ratio connects atomic structure, gravity, charge, and time.

Everything Follows

From four physical axioms about the medium's structure, the Schrödinger equation, General Relativity's classical tests, the electron's anomalous magnetic moment, and the charged lepton mass ratios all follow — without assuming any result from quantum mechanics as input.

What the Theory Derives — Without Assuming Quantum Mechanics

  1. The Schrödinger equation for hydrogen
    Derived from four physical axioms via Nelson stochastic mechanics. The diffusion coefficient, Coulomb potential, Born rule, quantum potential, and imaginary unit all follow from the medium's structure. No quantum postulate assumed.
  2. The five classical tests of General Relativity
    The exponential gravitational metric follows from Beer-Lambert attenuation of the GM flux by matter. All five tests confirmed: Pound-Rebka (0.04%), solar light deflection (0.05%), Mercury perihelion (0.26σ), Cassini Shapiro delay (0.91σ), Gravity Probe A (70 ppm).
  3. The electron as a three-layer topological vortex
    Three nested scales — rₑ, λ_C, a₀ — are each separated by exactly α = 1/137, verified to ten significant figures. The proton-to-electron mass ratio mₚ/mₑ = 1836.15 follows from the same structure, to 0.003% accuracy.
  4. The Feynman path integral from GM pre-sampling
    The path integral phase exp(iS/ħ) is the Wick rotation of Brownian motion (Kac theorem, exact). The GM medium's faster-than-c propagation pre-establishes boundary conditions before any EM event — the physical mechanism for 'sampling all paths.'
  5. Multi-electron structure and molecular geometry
    The IWT Weizsäcker functional in 3D is algebraically identical to Kohn-Sham DFT for nodeless orbitals. Helium energy: 0.39% error. H₂ bond length: 0.05%. Six molecular bond angles: < 0.3° error. No 3N-dimensional configuration space required.
  6. Charged lepton mass ratios from two integers
    mμ/mₑ, mτ/mₑ, and mτ/mμ are all derived from N_q = 3 and N_gen = 3 alone, via the Koide-Brannen formula with θ_K = 2/9. Errors: 0.001%, 0.007%, 0.006%. No free parameters. α does not enter.
  7. The anomalous magnetic moment of the electron
    g = 2 exactly, from Hopf vortex ring-current geometry. The Schwinger term α/2π from virtual Hopf-pair creation. The four-loop QED series matches experiment to 11 significant figures — the most precise prediction in physics, given a physical mechanism.
  8. Hydrogen fine structure from the Klein–Gordon envelope
    All three O(α²) corrections — relativistic kinetic energy, Darwin term, spin-orbit coupling — derived by retaining the second time-derivative Paper 1 discarded. 2p splitting: 0.04528 meV vs experimental 0.04537 meV (0.15%). Lamb shift physically identified.
